Metro 2033 nu va avea o versiune demo înaintea lansării

Studiourile 4A Games au dezvăluit via Tweeter că nu vor putea oferi o versiune demo pentru first-person shooter-ul post-apocaliptic Metro 2033 înaintea lansării de pe 19 martie, producătorii motivând această decizie prin lipsa timpului necesar pentru pregătirea acesteia.

Square Enix va lansa versiunea demo pentru Just Cause 2 pe 4 martie

Studiourile Square Enix Londra ne-au informat că versiunea demo a jocului de acţiune Just Cause 2 va fi disponibilă via Steam începând cu 4 martie, data europeană de lansare fiind deja stabilită pentru 26 martie. Acţiunea se va desfăşura în deşertul Lautan Lama, într-o zonă cu o întindere de aproximativ 90 de kilometri pătraţi, unde jucătorii vor avea o libertate foarte mare de acţiune şi misiuni ce îi vor implica asasinarea unui colonel sau distrugerea unei statii radar guvernamentale. „Versiunea demo pentru Just Cause 2 are foarte multe de oferit, iar jucătorii vor fi implicaţi în atât de multe lucruri încât rejucabilitatea ei este foarte mare” a declarat Lee Singleton – Director general Square Enix Londra.

A început testarea close beta pentru MMO-ul Mytheon

True Games Interactive ne-a informat despre începerea testării closed beta a MMO-ului fantasy Mytheon, dezvoltat de studiourile Petroglyph. „Ştim că fanii Mytheon aşteaptă cu nerăbdare să încerce jocul, dar până acum am fost foarte exigenţi cu cei care puteau participa la testarea lui”, a declarat Peter Cesario, product development director în cadrul True Games. „[...] acum considerăm că jocul a ajuns într-un punct în care este pregătit să fie prezentat comunităţii şi să fie testat de aceasta pe măsură ce vom trece din closed în open beta şi apoi la lansare”, a completat acesta. Jucătorii interesaţi se pot înscrie pe site-ul oficial, clientul fiind disponibil pe serverele ComputerGames.ro.

Bluehole Studio anunţă crearea diviziei de publishing En Masse Entertainment

Compania coreeană Bluehole Studio a anunţat formarea diviziei de publishing En Masse Entertainment, ce se va axa pe optimizarea şi introducerea MMOG-urilor coreene pe piaţa vestică. Primul proiect al nou formatei divizii, alcătuită din foşti angajaţi ai Blizzard, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, ArenaNet şi Ncsoft, constă în adaptarea MMORPG-ului TERA şi lansarea acestuia pe piaţa vestică în 2011.
